Cable companies lump popular and unpopular channels together in cable plans to make you feel like you are getting a load of options. Thereby making you think you are getting more for what you pay for. In reality though, you could be wasting hundreds of dollars for channels you don’t want or even have the time to watch.

Think about it. How much do you pay monthly for you cable? How much have you already paid? Now think about the amount of time you watch TV.

Do you need it?

Saying goodbye to cable TV may be difficult because you’ve gotten used to having the options. But it’s not impossible. There are numerous alternatives available that is not as limiting and not as expensive. In fact, there are hundreds of channels broadcasted for free.

You don’t need to settle with an overpriced cable plan to access them.

You only need to get SkyWire TV Antenna, one of the best HDTV antennas.

Unlike the older versions, SkyWire TV is small and multi-directional. No need to point it at a specific direction or struggle with rabbit ears to get proper signal. Works in all weathers and receives signals as far as 30 miles away.

You can give up cable and still enjoy your favorite channels. All without monthly fees.

WHAT SKYWIRE TV ANTENNA CUSTOMERS SAY

Keeping my cable has become a burden which is why I decided to try out antennas to see if I can find a cheaper alternative. SkyWire TV Antenna is the third antenna I tried and it did not disappoint. Worked pretty well for me. It helped me get CBS, Fox, ABS, and other local news and sports channels. I like that it’s easy to hide away and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.

SkyWire TV Antenna is a decent antenna. It gave me a few good channels. It’s cheap and the material looks it. The entire thing feels flimsy and easy to break. Actually stopped working for me after a few weeks. It was working well until it just suddenly stopped showing the available channels. Not sure why and don’t know how to fix it either. My suggestion is don’t be afraid to spend an extra buck to get something better. Try out other antennas.

I like SkyWire TV Antenna because it receives channels from afar and has a reliable connection. The antenna is long enough to run behind my tv cabinet all the way to the side of my window where I mounted the antenna. Haven’t had any issues with the connections yet. What I do have an issue with is the delivery time. I had to wait almost a month before the delivery arrived. The customer service wasn’t very helpful either and kept repeating their answers to me. But the antenna itself is good.

Been using SkyWire TV Antenna for a couple of weeks now and it’s a great antenna! Picks up very strong signals and receives lots of good channels. However, strong winds and rainy days do affect the signals. Still had channels during a storm but the reception wasn’t as good as a regular day. Still very pleased with this antenna though. Would definitely recommend. To be honest I thought I’d get more channels but maybe because I live in a small town there aren’t much available. Might need an amplifier if you live away from big cities because the range on this one is a bit restricted. Overall good reception and works just fine on its own. Decent channels and very affordable. I’m just lucky I got the few good channels I do watch.

CONCLUSION

SkyWire TV is a good alternative if you’re looking to cut costs but don’t want to give up TV. This antenna can give you access to live TV, cartoons, news, and sports channels too. The availability of the channels depend on what’s broadcasted near you.

Be warned though that the unit itself looks underwhelming. The material used is lightweight and feels like cheap plastic. It looks more like a mouse pad attached to a cable than an antenna. I didn’t think it would work at all but SkyWire proved me wrong.

I was able to set it up in minutes and got a good amount of channels including CNN, ABC, FOX, and so on. Of course not all of them can be considered HD quality but most are as clear as standard broadcasts.

I’ve read that because the unit is so thin that you could hide it behind the TV screen but I strongly advise against that. With my experience, it works best placed away from other gadgets because they could mess up with the signal reception. Less obstruction means clearer channels.
